About Us

Ebenezer English Medium UP School was established in 1980 by the late Smt. Sophiamma Abraham with the intention of founding an English medium school in Thannithode Grama Panchayath, one of the largest gram panchayats in Kerala surrounded by a reserve forest and home to many wild animals.

Late Mr. John Thomas from Omalloor, a retired headmaster with more than 40 years of teaching experience and a founding member of many schools, took over the school and modernized it with the intention of converting it into an international-level school in Konni sub-district.

The current management (John Thomas family) is committed to continuing the founder's and Mr. John Thomas's dream, working towards transforming the school into an international standard institution in the Konni sub-district area.

Academics

Ebenezer EMUP School focuses on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, aligning with the Kerala Syllabus alongside international standards, to ensure that students are globally competitive.

Ebenezer EM UP School emphasizes the development of Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing (LSRW) skills in our students, and we adhere to the Cambridge system for LSRW assessment.

To master in technologies from early ages, we helps students to do activities in Robotics, Ai & ML , Coding & Space education etc.

The Kindergarten at our school caters to children aged 3 to 6 years, comprising levels PP, LKG and UKG

National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Monitoring

We assess our students on a term basis and conduct open houses to identify their potential, involving parents in the process. We collaborate with parents to implement necessary remedies as part of our continuous improvement approach.

We also evaluates students performance in various extra curricular activities through various competitions, exhibitions , house based competitions etc. This will helps students to be part of other activities.

Final evaluation is based on their overall performance both in academics and extra curricular activities. Such evaluation helps to build their overall performance and their character building.
